G2P.org offers a new easy approach to finding files that are indexed within Google. Using G2P.org allows users to download the songs straight from the web. Although not everything can be found, I have had a bit of success in finding newer released songs.

Here is an example of how to use this search facility

Step 1: goto http://www.g2p.org/

Step 2: in the 'looking for' put 'Tamil' (avoid multiple words. it doesn't work most of the time) if you are looking for new tamil MP3 and click search.

step 3: I'm pretty sure you will hit some index page of a Mp3 hoster (my search hit 'http://nijatamil.com/mp3/B' as 6th or 7th result)

step 4: Traverse to the index page by clicking on the 'parent directory'

Increase BROADBAND download speed

This is for broad band connections. I didn’t try it on dial up but might work for dial up.
1. make sure your logged on as actually "Administrator". do not log on with any account that just has administrator privileges.
2. start - run - type gpedit.msc
3. expand the "local computer policy" branch
4. expand the "administrative templates" branch
5. expand the "network branch"
6. Highlight the "QoS Packet Scheduler" in left window
7. in right window double click the "limit reservable bandwidth" setting
8. on setting tab check the "enabled" item
9. where it says "Bandwidth limit %" change it to read 0

Effect is immediate on some systems, some need to re-boot. This is more of a "counter what XP does" thing. In other words, programs can request up to 20% of the bandwidth be reserved for them, even with QoS disabled, this is no big deal and most programs do not request it. So, although QOS has caused a big stink because people think it reserves 20% of their bandwidth, you can still disable it, just to be sure, hehe.

Lock any folder without using any software in Windows

1. Suppose you have a folder named test in D:\test.

2. In the same folder-level, create a new notepad file with the exact statement
ren test test.{21EC2020-3AEA-1069-A2DD-08002B30309D}

3. Now save this text file as lock.bat

4. Create another notepad file and type
ren test.{21EC2020-3AEA-1069-A2DD-08002B30309D} test

5. Save this as key.bat

6. Now there are two batch files. Double click lock.bat and your folder icon will be changed to Control Panel and its contents cannot be viewed .

7. To open the folder double click key.bat and you get back your original folder.
